Frank Gimpaya Lives in New York, NY Selected Exhibitions: Paris, France Galerie Triangle, Washington, DC Casa de las Americas, Habana, Cuba Venice, Italy Museo de Arte Moderno, Mexico City, Mexico El Museo Del Barrio, New York, NY Education: Hunter College with a BFA in painting. Gimpaya is a freelance photographer, graphic designer & Art teacher at John Jay College in NYC “The images evoke for me a special relationship among objects and their immediate environments. My perspective allows the subjects of my imagery to lose their sense of scale because I perceive the objects as impressions from the corners of my eyes.”
